About Us

Company D-2 is an Army outfit in Second Brigade. The unit was formed in 1971 and is one of the oldest units in the Corps. It has never been reformed, renamed, or disbanded. Becasue of his, D-2 uphold many traditions that have been lost to the rest of the Corps or are unique to Dog Company. D-2 is a consistenly high performer in military profinciency, academic excellence, and campus-wide participation. D-2 also has a long history of contracting military officers, Yell Leaders, and Student Government Members, and has had more Corps Commanders than any other outfit. Dog Company has also reeived countless awards, including the Best Outfit in the Corps: General Moore Award, Best Drilled Army Outfit, and the President's Choice Award. D-2 is the only outfit to hae won all possible major unit awards in the Corps. It is one of the most challenging outfits in the Corps of Cadets, but it is also one of the most rewarding.

What D-2 Can Offer You

• D-2 has 31 Army Contract Cadets and one Marine Contracted Cadet
• 7 Cadets have graduatd from either Airborne or Air Assault Training School
• 11 Cadets pinned in Rudder's Rangers Special Team
• 2 Cadet are currently Fish Drill Team Instructors
• Another 13 Cadets have graduated from special training including the German Profinciency Badge, Path Finder's, Robin Sage Special Warfare School, and Cadet Field Training at West Point.
